With over 20 years of real estate investing experience, Domenic has extensive knowledge of the real estate market. Domenic Gagliardi has been an independent investor and property manager for over 20 years. At the age of 19, Domenic purchased his first rental property while still living at home with family. This decision was based upon an amazing opportunity to become a young Investor to ultimately secure a better future down the road. Sure enough, it worked – Five years later, a re-finance helped purchase a second investment. Domenic currently manages over 20 rentals properties, and continuing to grow at a rapid pace! His love for people & hard work to establish good relationships with Tenants has allowed our clients comfort & ease.

Matthew has learned from the best! With over 18 years of experience, Matthew has become a vital part in the success of The Johnston Team. He now holds his Broker’s license and has a passionate commitment to ongoing education of market trends and up-to-date market information. Matthew utilizes the advanced technology and marketing tools at Royal Lepage First Contact Realty and has catapulted the Johnston Team to the next level with interactive communication for both the client and the consumer. Matthew has extensive experience with condos in Barrie, with over 100 condo transactions in the last 2 years. He has sold and rented the most condos at Manhattan & Greenwich village condos in Barrie and works hard to get the results his clients want. Additionally, Matthew is experienced in real estate investing in Barrie and purchased his first investment property at the age of 18 years old – A four bedroom townhome 2 mins from Georgian College for $87,500 (Keep in mind this was 1996). As the years went on, Matthew continued to purchase Investment properties & now holds a large inventory including – Multi-Unit commercial, Multi-Unit Residential, Single Family & College rentals. Last year alone, Matthew helped his clients purchase 28 investment homes within the City of Barrie. Matthew prides himself of being able to assist clients with all their real estate needs!

Karen has enjoyed over 20 years as a real estate representative, this after a dozen years in the banking industry with the Royal Bank in Barrie. With time off to raise a family she then joined her husband Robert in his already successful real estate career, they went on to become one of the 1st husband & wife teams in Barrie and area. Karen enjoys every aspect of the real estate industry, especially customer care and the creative marketing of each and every one of their listed properties. Karen has completed the Canadian Staging course and Feng Shui course to help their clients homes stand out and show their best.

Robert started his career at A.E.Lepage in Toronto, back in the 70’s and has continued his life work in Real Estate. He has achieved Royal Lepage’s highest honours, the Life Time Achievement award and the prestigious Lifetime Chairman’s Club award. Both Karen & Matthew have been a critical part of achieving these awards with Robert. Robert and Karen are pleased to be an important part of Royal LePage First Contact Realty, a well-established and respected company in Barrie that strives to always be on the cutting edge of new and innovative marketing techniques, employing only the latest in technological advances. Robert was born and raised in Barrie and is a past member of the planning board of the City and is also an active member of The Rotary Club of Barrie for more than 25 years. Robert and Karen’s connectedness in the City shows their commitment to community involvement.
